Genetical And Cytological Studies On Triticale

In the present study an attempt was made to throw some light on the cytological disturbance estimates,e.g. frequency of micronuclei and chromosomal aberrations as an indication of the cytological instability, in the eight hexaploid triticale lines and some of their F1`s as well as to detect any existed association between the cytological instability and agronomic properties including fertility . The work was extended to provide information on the genetic systems governing the inheritance of some yield components and agronomic characters using an eight X eight diallel system.
