Abstract:
the position of wheat crop in egyptian agricultural rotation is considered as one of the important factors governing the soil productivity. it is preceded by summer crops which maize and cotton are the most important crops. hence, it could be concluded that the application of nitrogen to wheat should be done according to preceding.wheat also responses to a great extent for high rate of nitrogen fertilizer. not only the nitrogen rates but also the time of nitrogen application are among the important agricultural practices used to increase wheat productivity.the present investigation has been conducted to study the effect of different nitrogen rates and various time Of Application after cotton and maize at preceding crops on growth yield and quality of two wheat cultivars.
