Self- regulated students engage in self-regulated thoughts, motions and actions as they strive to achieve their academic goals, and they may use appropriate learning strategies to attain academic quality of life, including artificial intelligence techniques. This study aimed to investigate the casual relationships between the use of Artificial intelligence (AI), self-regulated learning (SRL) and academic quality of life (AQL) among university students. A sample comprising )500) university students aged between 19 and 24 years (mean= 19.54) was drawn from the faculty of education- Zagazig university, Egypt. Quantitative methods were utilized, along with the convenient sampling technique. Data were collected using Dependence on Artificial Intelligence Scale (by author), Academic Self-regulating learning Questionnaire (Nambiar, et al. 2022 translated by author) and UnilQual: University Life Quality Scale (Yılmaz 2019: translated by author). Results: The findings indicated that AI contribute positively to supporting SRL thereby indirectly enhancing academic quality of life. In addition, SRL was found to be a predictor of academic quality of life (0 .514). In lights of study findings, the study presents a recommendation for decision-makers and university members regarding the importance of employing AI in the development and shaping the future of higher education in Egypt.
