Abstract:
the prevalence of diabtes melltus varies in different populations of the world but in the united kingdom is con -sidered to affect about 28 of the population and is therEFORE, A major Health Problem. The aim Of The Present Study Is TO Evaluate Some Wild plants (juniperus phoenicea, Anastatica hierochuntica and Artemisia monosperma.) which are traditionally used in Egyptian folk remedy, to establish thrir activity as a hypoglycaemic agents,and also to evaluate the effect of administration of the chosen plants on the metabolism of carbohydrate and lipid as well liver and renal functions in normal and alloxanized diabetic rats.
