The response of broiler breeder hens to molting has been reported by Thomas and Bray (1976) and Hazan and yalcin (1989) It Would be interesting Investigate the relationship between calcium and energy. as well dietary and management effects, that could serve as means of prolonging and improving the produtive and reproductive performance of breeding hens to ultimately improve poultry production in Egypt. for these reasons three parts were included, first part for the relationship between calcium and energy in egg prouction and egg quality, the second part for the effect of the energy allotments on the performanceof broiler breeders and the third part for forced molting broiler breeders.
