Abstract:
The circular economy is defined as preserving the value of products and materials for the greatest possible period while reducing the use of waste and resources. When the product reaches the end of its lifespan, it is used again to create added value to achieve great economic benefits. The research problem was that burning agricultural waste is considered a waste of new renewable energy, as it 50% of them are organic components, and the research aimed to estimate the annual growth rate of the development of the area under cultivation of bananas, cane, and sorghum, as well as estimating the costs, returns, and profitability indicators for producing compost from banana, sorghum, and sorghum waste and for producing silage feed from sorghum and sorghum waste without cobs/with cobs. The following results were reached: (1) The average total revenue was highest in corn silage in corn cobs, where it was estimated at about 2450 pounds/ton, and it was lowest in banana compost and corn compost, where it was estimated at about 850 pounds/ton for each. (2) The average total costs were highest in corn silage in Coizan, where it was estimated at about 2450 pounds/ton, and the lowest in banana compost, where it was estimated at about 527 pounds/ton. (3) The average net profit per acre was highest in corn silage in corn cobs, where it was estimated at about 22,579 pounds. Pounds/ton, and was lowest in corn compost, where it was estimated at about 1340 pounds/ton. (4) The average farmer incentive was highest in corn silage without cobs, where it was estimated at about 58%, and it was lowest in corn compost, where it was estimated at about 36%. The study recommends expanding the production of corn silage with cobs and sheared hay silage. The study also recommends making optimal use of agricultural waste and avoiding burning them.
