| Abstract: |
The research mainly aimed to study the competitiveness and export efficiency of Egyptian exports of green beans to orange juice by studying the following objectives: the development of area, productivity and production of the orange crop during the period - (2020 2000), and the development of Egypt's total exports and imports of the orange crop during the period ( - 2020 2000), and the development of Egypt's total exports and imports of orange juice during the period ( - 2020 2000), and indicators of economic efficiency of Egypt's exports of oranges and orange juice to the world, including (the efficiency of the performance of export operations for the orange crop, the degree of economic openness of the orange crop, the apparent comparative advantage of the orange crop, and the degree of The economic openness of orange juice, the index of market share for the orange crop, and the geographical distribution of Egyptian exports of the orange crop. The results showed that the average performance efficiency of orange export operations reached 0.141 during the period ( - 2020 2000), with a maximum of about 00267 in 2018 and a minimum of 0.017 in 2000, and that the average performance efficiency of orange juice export operations reached
0.00143during the period ( - 2020 2000), with a maximum of about 0.00716 in 2018 and a minimum of 0.00002 in 2000, and that the average degree of economic openness of oranges reached 0.170during the period ( - 2020 2000), with a maximum of about 0.283in 2018and a minimum of 0.017in 2000, and that the average degree of economic openness For orange juice, it reached 0.00163 during the period ( - 2020 2000), with a maximum of about 0.0073 in
2018 and a minimum of 0.0002 in 2004 and that the average apparent competitive advantage of oranges reached 24.62 during the period ( - 2020 2000), with a maximum of about 35.9 in
2019 and a minimum 7.44 in 2002, and that the average apparent competitive advantage of orange juice reached 0.37during the period ( - 2020 2000), with a maximum of about 1.65 in
2018 and a minimum of 0.011 in 2000, and that the average market share of oranges reached
6.68 during the period ( - 2020 2000), With a maximum of about 11.98in 2019and a minimum of 0.83 in 2000, and the average market share of orange juice reached 0.11during the period ( - 2020 2000), with a maximum of about 0.54 in 2019 and a minimum of 0.001 in 2000.
