Prognostic value of ANDC score and CRP-derived inflammatory markers in hospitalized adult patients with COVID-19

Abstract:
This retrospective study included 98 hospitalized adults with COVID-19, of whom 51 died, to evaluate the prognostic value of the ANDC score and CRP-derived inflammatory markers. Higher CRP, CAR, CPR, CLR, and ANDC levels were significantly associated with mortality, with ANDC showing the highest sensitivity for predicting death at 88.2%. Multivariable analysis identified older age, higher CPR, and higher ANDC levels as independent predictors of mortality.
