A proposed perspective to reduce organizational Inertia at Zagazig University in light of the strategic foresight approach Abstract The present study aims to arrive at a proposed perspective to reduce organizational inertia at Zagazig University in light of the strategic foresight approach. Based on the nature, problem, and objective of the study, the descriptive method was adopted, in addition to surveying the opinions of a group of experts regarding the proposed Perspective through which organizational inertia at Zagazig University can be reduced using the strategic foresight approach. The study proceeded through the following steps: presenting the general framework of the study; clarifying the theoretical framework of strategic foresight and its role in reducing organizational inertia in universities as addressed in contemporary administrative and educational literature , then addressed the current state of organizational inertia at Zagazig University In terms of insight inertia , action inertia , psychological inertia based on relevant documents and various studies, and exploring the opinions of a number of experts on the preliminary draft of the proposed Perspective. Consequently, the study succeeded in developing a proposed Perspective that contributes to reducing organizational inertia at Zagazig University through the strategic foresight approach.
