Studies On Virus Diseases In Leguminous Plants

The purpose of the present investigation was first , to a survey for vital diseases that are seed-borne in all cultivated area in A.R. of Egypt using new sensitive quick technique that is in many countries such as enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). This was achieved by using ” grown-on method” under greenhouse conditions and enzyme linked immunosorbent assay ” ELISA ” according to voller et al . (1976), clark and adams (1977) , Lemmol et al (1982), and Legrand (1986), for detection and identification of the viruses mentioned before and second to characterize some widely spread viruses in seeds of Legumes using accurate modern production and other available techniques
