The effect of different content presentation styles (interactive video/virtual tours) in spaced learning environments on the developing e-book design skills and visual thinking skills among students with special needs in the Educational Technology Department The Abstract The aim of the research is to develop the skills of designing e-books and visual thinking among students with special needs in the Department of Educational Technology by measuring the effect of the content presentation style (Interactive Video/Virtual Tours) in the spaced learning environment. The experiment was conducted on a sample of (24) hearing-impaired students in the third level of the Department of Educational Technology. The sample was divided into two groups, each group consisting of (12) students. The first group studied the educational content with the interactive video presentation style, and the second group studied the educational content with the virtual tour presentation style. The experimental method was used, and the research tools were prepared, which were an achievement test to measure the cognitive aspect of designing e-books using the Kotobee program and an observation card to measure students’ skills in designing e-books, and a visual thinking scale. After applying the research tools before and after, and applying the research to the sample members, several results were reached, the most important of which are: the presence of a statistically significant difference between the average ranks of the students’ scores in the sample in the pre- and post-measurements of the cognitive achievement test, the practical performance observation card related to e-book design skills, and the visual thinking scale in favor of the post-measurement, which It confirms the effectiveness of the spaced learning environment in increasing cognitive achievement, practical performance, and the level of visual thinking. The research results also indicated that there was no statistically significant difference between the average ranks of the scores of the first experimental group (which studied the educational content using the interactive video display style) and the second experimental group (which studied the educational content using the virtual tours display style) on cognitive achievement and practical performance related to e-book design skills and the visual thinking scale. These results confirm the importance of spaced learning environments in developing cognitive achievement and practical performance of skills and visual thinking. The research recommends employing content presenting styles (interactive video/virtual tours) in spaced learning environments to develop hearing impairments skills.
