Search aim: To identify the effect of using the circular shape strategy in the reciprocal learning method on the performance level of the triple jump competition for first-year students at the Faculty of Physical Education for Boys, Zagazig University.
Curriculum used: The experimental method was followed by an experimental design with pre- and post-measurements for two experimental and control groups.
Research Sample and Characteristics: The research community consists of first-year students at the Faculty of Physical Education for Boys, Zagazig University, who are enrolled in the field and track competitions course for the second semester of the academic year 2024/2025 AD, numbering (1261) students. The researcher selected the sample intentionally, numbering (96) students, then withdrew (16) A student was asked to conduct the survey and excluded from the main research sample, Thus, the actual research sample becomes (80) students who were divided into two groups: the experimental group, with which learning was used using the circular shape strategy in the reciprocal learning method, consisting of (40) students, and the control group, with which the traditional method was used, consisting of (40) students.
The most important results:
1- The use of learning with the circular shape strategy in the reciprocal learning method was effective in learning the triple jump competition, which led to raising the performance level of first-year students at the Faculty of Physical Education for Boys, Zagazig University, in the experimental group.
2- Using the traditional strategy in the command style had an effective impact on learning the triple jump competition, which led to raising the performance level of first-year students at the Faculty of Physical Education for Boys, Zagazig University, in the control group.
3- The circular shape strategy with the reciprocal learning method for the students of the experimental group was more effective than the command method (explanation and presentation) for the control group in learning the triple jump competition and the level of students’ performance in this competition.
The most important recommendations:
1- Study the impact of combining different teaching strategies and methods and determine the most appropriate for the nature of the educational content of different sports activities.
2- Taking into account the use of the circular shape strategy in the reciprocal learning method when building the content of the curricula and courses for field and track competitions.
3- Using the circular shape strategy with the reciprocal learning method to teach the triple jump skill as a means of active learning, as well as linking educational activities for various field and track competitions.
