Research objective: This study aims to identify the effectiveness of using virtual reality technology supported by VR BOX glasses on learning the skill of asking from above in volleyball for students of the College of Physical Education for Boys, Zagazig University. Curriculum used: experimental Research Sample and Characteristics: The research community consists of second-year students at the College of Physical Education for Boys, Zagazig University, who number (1377) students and are registered in the college’s student affairs records for the academic year 2022/2023 AD. The researcher intentionally selected a number of (100) students from the research community, and a number of (20) students were selected. They were randomly assigned to conduct the exploratory study. Thus, the basic sample became (80) students, divided into two groups, one experimental and consisting of (40) students, and the other a control group, consisting of (40) students. The most important results: 1- The application of the educational program using virtual reality technology supported by VR BOX glasses has a statistically significant effect on the level of learning the skill of asking from above in volleyball. 2- Virtual reality technology has proven its effectiveness in the student’s understanding of educational content and providing a virtual environment that resembles real reality and is characterized by an element of suspense to navigate through a three-dimensional space that allows the learner to wander around, look inside it, and experience its reality. The most important recommendations: 1- Improving teaching methods in universities and supporting them with technological innovations, and moving away from the usual methods, which helps in the growth of positive trends towards their technological innovations. 2- Applying the educational program using virtual reality technology supported by VR BOX glasses to learn the skills of sports activities for students of the College of Physical Education. 3- Working to have experts specialized in the field of technological technologies design virtual reality rooms and create virtual world models in colleges of physical education.
