Genetical And Cytogenetical Studies In Broad Bean (Vicia Faba L.)

In this work the problem has been treated from the point of view of the direct effects of certain aneugenetic and polyploidization agents on mitotic index, micronuclei formation and chromosomal abnormalities.the agents used were colchicine and benlate, a fungicide known to induce aneuploidy and excess of chromosomal fragmentation .comparing the effects of these agents on the three types and the progenies of certain varieties beloning to these types was the main aim of the present study.
