Abstract:
in Egypt, one of the main probleme in the field of animal production, is the shortage of feedstuffs. In addition, the available feedstuffs are mal-distributed arround the year. During winter and spring, 96 and 177 of animal requireente for energy and protein, respect-ively, are covered from berseem. During summer, the available feeds (mainly concentrates and straw) cover only 39 and. 37 of animaL requiments for energy and protein, respectively ( Kotbet al.,1974).The Present work aimes to This wark was carried out to determine the yeild and nutritive value of the green forage obtained from catting barleg and wheat of graings and straw of such plants were also estimated.
