The current research aimed to identify the use of intensive behavioral modification techniques in reducing the severity of some repetitive stereotyped behaviors among children with autism spectrum disorder, and the study sample consisted of (20) children with autism spectrum disorder, their ages ranged between (5-7) years. The sample was divided into two groups. The study tools included: Stanford-Binet Intelligence Scale, Childhood Autism Scale (CARS), Repetitive Stereotyped Behaviors Scale prepared by the researcher, and Intensive Behavioral Modification Techniques Program to reduce repetitive stereotyped behaviors in children with autism spectrum disorder (prepared by the researcher). The results showed: There are statistically significant differences between the average ranks of the levels of the dimensions of stereotypical repetitive behaviors among the experimental group members in the pre and post measurements, and there are no statistically significant differences between the averages of the degrees of the dimensions of the repetitive stereotyped behaviors of the experimental group in the post and follow-up measurements. And there are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the dimensions of stereotypical behaviors (sensory, kinesthetic, verbal, emotional, stereotypical, total score) among the experimental and control groups.
