Studies on the genetic resources in the primitive cultivares of some HIBISCUS SP

The present study was based on a multivariate asalysis of genetic divergence in a spectrum of collection of primitive cultivars of Hibiscus ( Abelmosshus ) esculentus and Hibiscus cannabinus, collected from different zones in Egypt. The purpose of this genetic assessments was to throw some light on the genetic divergence in quantitative terms that would provide rational basis for selection of parents in each species that might share in successful hybridization programmes.
