A violent controversy arose regarding the components of the nation and the pillars of nationalism. It was said that the main factor in the formation of the nation - on the one hand, and nationalism on the other - “is the unity of the race.” However, others challenged the proponents of this theory, and some of them said: “The unity of the land is a necessary factor in Forming the nation and determining the features of its nationalism.
