Abstract:
The idea of nationalism is defined as: an ideal intellectual movement that arises among a group of people that aims to achieve specific and clear goals for them and is based on several elements that help and contribute to its formation and crystallization. These elements are language, gender, common history, religion, unity of interests and benefits, and homeland. However, the basis for its emergence are two elements: language, and the unity of history. Nationalism, whatever it is and wherever it may arise, can also be classified according to the main element or the most effective driving factor, which has the greatest power in moving and crystallizing it. It is said: linguistic nationalism, another religious nationalism, and a third. Ethnic. However, we note that the unity of language and history is one of the most important elements of nationalism.
