SUMMARYMany studies indicated that separation anxiety is one of the most significant disorders in childhood. Thus it leads to disability in affects the social development of the child. For example and psychological the child rejects to sleep alone – or go to school alone in addition to physiological complaints, functional to physiological complaints functional disability and some phobias he suffers.Concequently this study aimed at identifying this study aimed at identifying the parental attitudes styles that lead to separation anxiety disorder.Aim of the study :1. There is a positive relationship between parental attitudes styles and separation anxiety disorder.2. Some of the parental attitudes styles In predicts separation anxiety disorder.3. Gender, Birth order mother work all these variables have a significant statistically influence.Sample of the study :Psychometric sample of study consists of (200) children (male & female) from primary schools (primary one, two and three) their ages (6 – 9).Tools of the study :1. Parental attitudes scare (prepared by the researcher).2. Separation anxiety scale (prepared by the researcher).Results of the study :- There is a positive relation between parental attitudes and separation anxiety disorder.- Some of parental attitudes predict separation anxiety disorder (over protection rejection).- Mother work and birth order are significant. in separation anxiety from the father.Gender is significant in separation anxiety disorder.
