The Effectiveness of Using Reciprocal Teaching Strategies

The current study aimed at developing some English language listening comprehension skills for faculty of education first year students through the use of reciprocal teaching strategies .Thus the problem of the study was stated in this question ”What is the effect of using Reciprocal Teaching Strategies on developing Faculty of Education 1st year students’ listening comprehension skills?The study adopted the pre-post test for the experimental group. Subjects in this study were faculty of education first year students. The experimental group was randomly selected from faculty of education, Zagazig university in the academic year 2006-2007. the experimental group was (30)students.The experimental group has been taught by the use of reciprocal teaching strategies for the sake of developing their listening comprehension skills.
