Abstract:
This study evaluated the phenotypic diversity and morphological variation of Pennisetum centrasiaticum populations. The results showed significant variation among accessions in several agronomic and morphological traits, indicating a high level of genetic diversity within the species. The observed variability provides valuable resources for breeding programs and conservation strategies. These findings highlight the importance of preserving diverse germplasm and utilizing phenotypic diversity to improve forage and grass crop development.
