The current research aims to identify the effect of self-esteem as a moderating variable on the relationship between academic entitlement and moral disengagement, as well as to determine the nature of the relationship between the current research variables among students of the Faculty of Education, Zagazig University. To achieve these objectives, the scales of academic entitlement and self-esteem (prepared by the researchers), and the scale of moral disengagement (translated and arabized by the researchers) were applied to a sample of (1225) male and female students from the four years of the Faculty of Education, Zagazig University. Pearson's sequential correlation coefficient, Analyze Regression Process Macro by Andrew F. Hayes, and the modified role model in the AMOSS program were used. The results showed a statistically significant effect of the self-esteem variable as a moderating variable on the relationship between academic entitlement and moral disengagement among students of the Faculty of Education, Zagazig University. The results also showed a statistically significant positive relationship between the dimensions of academic entitlement and the total grade, and the dimensions of moral disengagement and the total grade. There was also a statistically significant negative relationship between the dimensions of self-esteem and the total grade, and the dimensions of moral disengagement and the total grade. While the relationship between the dimensions of self-esteem and the total grade and the dimensions of academic entitlement and the total grade varied between positive and negative among students of the Faculty of Education at Zagazig University.
