Abstract:
researcher thinks that the best to conclude with IS to answer the h questions mentioned previously.is the effect of using group-based language activities on developing ommunicative competence of students of the Faculty of Theology, ar University?r administering the post listening and speaking tests to the two groups, as a statistically significant difference between the experimental and . trol groups in favour of the experimental group due to the use of theare the necessary communicative skills needed for these Students? searcher designed a questionnaire to determine the communicative eded for the target students. He depended on the relevant literature gious books when preparing the preliminary form of the questionnaire. stionnaire was then judged by a jury of judges. They gave valuable which the researcher took into consideration . The final form of the aire shows that there are 86 communicative skills needed to be by the target students. Some of these skills are directing andg activities, seeking and giving information, expressing feeling and and expressing opinions and attitudes. The selected activities are in promoting and developing such communicative skillsHowing topics are suggested for further investigation:far could the group-based activities such as the ones used in this study d to teach grammar, vocabulary and other aspects of the Language?could non-verbal communication be used to develop the unicative aspects of the deaf and the dumb?you think that the male perceives the communicative needs in the same the female does ? if so, why?
