Research Summary The research explores the possibility of utilizing the displacement strategy to create ceramic formations, enriching visual aesthetics and as an introduction to contemporary ceramic formulations. It can also be used to beautify interior environments. It also explores the possibility of developing teaching methods for students in the Faculty of Specific Education by utilizing the formal diversity of the displacement strategy as a source of enrichment for ceramic forms when teaching students the ceramics course. The research relied on experimentation and the use of the thought and philosophy of deconstructionism to create expressive and formative meanings and connotations by reformulating simple geometric shapes and finding formative solutions for them. The displacement strategy serves as an experimental approach to producing ceramics with diverse formulations and shapes. This enables visual visions of ceramic forms and the possibility of achieving them using Aswan clay. Emphasizing the creative potential that can be achieved in the field of ceramics, the research aims to study the displacement strategy in the ceramic form and the possibility of achieving it to create ceramic formations with a contemporary vision, and to reveal new experimental approaches to the ceramic form, through the thought and philosophy of deconstruction, including proposing formative solutions to reach simple and innovative ceramic formulations, by standing on two axes: the first is design to clarify the idea as a basic strategic step and its source, and then comes the approach and application method followed to implement each selected unit, which is limited to the displacement strategy and manual application with the material to produce the basic form in a new form with a symbolic and expressive significance that can be employed aesthetically and how to process it formatively by making displacements in the basic forms and treating them aesthetically by reassembling and coloristically with glaze and ground linings. Regarding the research recommendations and results, the results were diverse formulations of ceramic models with a formalist tendency, resulting from the development and diversity of the idea and displacement strategy. The teaching method also helped in teaching students the formulations of the vocabulary of form. Among the research recommendations is the possibility of achieving formative results for diverse, distinctive, and new ceramic compositions produced by students in the College of Specific Education for teaching the ceramics course and for developing the teaching method used.
