Abstract:
The syrinx of three species showed different anatomical and histological structures and this leads to different pitches of sound: 1- The more ossified syrinx in geese gives it the pitched sound 2- The bull tympaniformis in house sparrow gives it the singing sound 3- The absence of lateral tympaniform membrane in cattle egret gives it the less pitched sound
