The current research was interested in studying the levels of attentional control ability scores among male and female secondary school students in practical and theoretical specializations. The final sample consisted of (185) male and female secondary school students in practical and theoretical specializations. Tasks were applied to them to measure attentional control ability (prepared by the researcher). Using the (t) test, the arithmetic mean and standard deviation of the scores of each dimension of attentional control ability, the research results showed the availability of an average level of attentional control ability among students in practical and theoretical specializations in secondary school, and the absence of a statistically significant difference at a significance level of (0.01) between the average scores of male and female students on the attentional control ability scale and its dimensions, and the absence of a statistically significant difference at a significance level of (0.01) between the average scores of students in scientific specialization and students in literary specialization on the attentional control ability scale and its dimensions, and the absence of an effect of the interaction of gender with specialization on the attentional control ability and its dimensions among secondary school students.
