Abstract:
In this study, we examined the thermal and mass transport features in the electromagnetic hybrid nanofluid flow across a porous medium due to a rotating disk. Moreover, the momentum and thermal profiles of nanofluid are studied in the presence of slip velocity conditions and convective thermal conditions. In this investigation, we consider the kerosene oil (KO) as a regular fluid with copper () and titanium dioxide () suspended for the hybrid nanoparticles (). The governing equations are transformed into dimensionless form through appropriate transformations. The HAM technique is used to analytically analyze the effect of physical components across the radial velocity, tangential velocity, thermal field, and concentration profiles. The homotopic approach is used to compute the h-curves to ensure convergence. It is assessed that elevating the porosity variable magnitude leads to accelerate the radial and tangential velocity fields of rotational flow and leads to decrease in the temperature and concentration profiles. Additionally, the temperature profile of the fluid is elevated for the rising values of Biot number and thermal radiation parameter. Tables exhibit the magnetic variable, porosity variable, slip effect, thermal radiation, Biot number, and chemical reaction influence across drag friction, heat, and mass transfer.
