The research aims to use the educational props strategy and to identify its effect on mental alertness and to learn some skills in field hockey،The researcher used the experimental method on a sample of (50) female students of the fourth year at the Faculty of Physical Education Girls, Zagazig University. They were divided into two groups, one experimental and the other controlling, each of 25 students. Data collection tools Physical tests - mental ability test - skill tests - mental alertness scale - educational program.. Statistical treatments: arithmetical mean - standard deviation - median - torsion coefficient - T test - coefficient of correlation . The most important results: 1- The use of the educational props strategy has a positive, statistically significant effect at the level (0.05) on mental alertness and learning some field hockey skills. 2- The instructional learning style has a statistically significant positive effect at the level of (0.05) on mental alertness and learning some field hockey skills. 3-Increasing the effectiveness of the educational props strategy on the command-based learning method in improving mental alertness and learning some field hockey skills. recommendations: 1- Focusing on applying the educational supports strategy to practical and theoretical courses at all educational levels. 2- Holding training courses for faculty members and their assistants to learn how to employ and use educational props in the teaching and learning process.
