The current research aimed to develop data security and computer protection skills among educational technology students through the semantic web environment in light of learning analytics, and the research sample consisted of students of the third year of the computer teacher preparation division of the Department of Educational Technology, Faculty of Qualitative Education, Zagazig University, consisting of 60 male and female students, selected randomly and divided into two groups, the control group was taught in the traditional way, while the experimental group was taught using the semantic web environment developed in light of learning analytics, and the research used the experimental design known as (two control and experimental groups), an achievement test to measure the cognitive aspects associated with data security and computer protection skills, and an observation card to measure the performative aspects associated with data security and computer protection skills. An achievement test to measure the cognitive aspects associated with data security and computer protection skills, and an observation card to measure the performance aspects associated with data security and computer protection skills, and both the descriptive method and the experimental method were used to measure the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable, and the current research reached several results, including: There is a statistically significant difference at (0.05) level between the mean scores of the control group students and the scores of the experimental group students in the post-application of the achievement test and the observation card related to data security and computer protection skills in favor of the experimental group students, the current research recommended that the semantic web environment designed in the current research should be utilized in developing the skills of other computer courses for educational technology students and employing learning analytics in modern learning environments to improve the learning process.
