Abstract:
The aim of the current research is to reveal the effectiveness of a proposed strategy in teaching psychology based on biophilia to develop psychological empowerment among second-year secondary school students. The two research groups consisted of a sample of (60) students, with (30) students in the experimental group (taught with the proposed strategy based on biophilia). Biophilia), and (30) students in the control group (taught in the usual way). The research tools included the psychological empowerment scale and it was applied to the two groups beforehand to ensure the equality of the two groups, and afterward to determine the significance of the differences between the average scores of the control and experimental groups. The results resulted in a statistically significant difference. At the level of significance (0.01) between the average scores of the experimental and control research groups in the post-application on the psychological empowerment scale in favor of the experimental group, and the presence of a statistically significant difference between the average scores of the experimental group in the pre- and post-application on the psychological empowerment scale in favor of the post-application, which indicates that The proposed strategy has high effectiveness in developing psychological empowerment among second-year secondary school students, and in light of this, a set of recommendations and proposals were presented .
