The study aimed to identify the philosophy of national security policies, their importance, objectives, fields, Egypt Vision 2030, requirements to support economic development, and also aimed to identify Egypt Vision 2030, and how national security policies can support economic development by participating in the realization of this vision, in order to achieve those goals. The analytical descriptive approach was followed as it is the most appropriate method used in the study of social and human phenomena. The study concluded that economic development is a comprehensive process, not an individual responsibility, but rather the combined efforts of society as a whole are required to bring about it. And that the current Egyptian economy problem is a natural result of the political and economic conditions that Egypt has lived through for decades. Egypt has the capabilities and materials that qualify it to carry out the process of economic development. What you need is a rational administration characterized by seriousness, firmness and boldness in taking appropriate and urgent decisions for reform. The study recommended the need to intensify efforts and develop urgent plans to limit and legalize the informal economy, which would save the lost billions on the state and the need to adopt a policy of rationalization in imports, especially luxury and recreational goods, and sufficiency Only with basic commodities and the requirements of the local industry, within the limits permitted by the international trade agreements concluded by Egypt.
