Abstract:
Many developing countries face the problem of the large size of the informal sector, as some estimates indicate that the size of the informal sector in the economies of developing countries represents a high percentage ranging between 30-70% of the gross national product of these countries, which means that a large proportion of Economic activities in developing countries are run at a less than optimal level for operation and at a high cost, which limits the utilization of the available economic resources and productive capacities. The classic believes that the capitalist system is capable of achieving full employment of resources and that if any deviation occurs from the level of full employment, as in cases of wars, disasters, or the informal economy that prevents the full employment of resources, automatic controls through the price apparatus will quickly restore the national economy. To its natural state which is a state of full employment. The informal sector plays a fundamental role in the Egyptian economy, especially in times of crisis.
