This study aimed to explore the role of artificial intelligence (AI) applications within the physical education curriculum in achieving the intended learning outcomes for graduates. The researcher employed the descriptive survey method, as it is appropriate for the nature of the study. The research sample was selected using a purposive random sampling technique, comprising 800 second-year female students. Of these, 50 students were selected for the pilot study, while the remaining 750 formed the main study sample. Additionally, 20 faculty members (professors and teaching assistants) participated in the study, with 5 chosen for the pilot sample and the remaining 15 for the main sample. A set of questionnaires was used as the primary tool for data collection.
The collected data were analyzed using appropriate statistical methods, including arithmetic mean, standard deviation, Pearson correlation coefficient, Spearman-Brown coefficient, Cronbach's Alpha, percentage, and the Chi-square (χ²) test to determine the significance of differences between frequencies.
After collecting data, statistical processing and the results reached by the researcher, it was possible to reach
The study’s key findings revealed that AI applications significantly contribute to enhancing students’ comprehension of the course by personalizing content based on their needs. There was also an increasing awareness among faculty members and students regarding AI concepts and their applications in education, albeit at varying levels. Moreover, the overall attitudes toward integrating AI were positive, with the majority of participants anticipating noticeable improvements in education quality and increased student engagement.
