The objective of the present research is to identify the effectiveness of a proposed programme in geography based on some post-constructive models to develop some of the skills of geographical investigative thinking and environmental awareness of the students of the Geography Division of the Faculty of Education To achieve this goal, the researcher prepared a geographical investigative thinking test, A measure of awareness of environmental issues, using the analytical descriptive curriculum and the experimental semi-experimental design curriculum, The study sample also consisted of 43 students in the Second Division of Geography of the Faculty of Education, University of Zagaziq The current research found statistically significant differences at an indicative level (0.05) between the averages of the pilot group's students in tribal and postgraduate applications to test both geographical investigative thinking skills as a whole and in their subskill, There are also statistically significant differences at an indicative level (0.05) between the averages of pilot group students' grades in tribal and postgraduate applications of the measure of awareness of environmental issues as a whole and in its subdimensional dimensions in favour of remote application. and a compelling correlation between pilot group students' scores in testing geographical investigative thinking skills and the measure of awareness of environmental issues "and the researcher recommended that emerging environmental issues should be included in programmes for the preparation of a geography teacher at the Faculty of Education, that attention be paid to the development of geographical investigative thinking skills and awareness of their environmental issues.
