Abstract: |
Arts in its all forms such as music, singing, theatre, photography and others at their different levels and diversity of origins play an important role in the rapprochement of peoples even during wars, so they were the focus of attention to be an aim of moving away from racism, extremism and colonialism.
Many Arab musicians have appeared who relied on the national character in their compositions, one of them, the Lebanese composer Wajdi Abu Diab. The researcher through reading his own works for the piano noticed that he depended in these works on samples of Arabic melodies and made for these works new musical distribution for the piano such as “Zorowny kul sana marah " ( Visit me once a year ), "Teleat ya mahala nourha ( What a lovely light when appears )" , " Alhelwa De " ( That beautiful! ) ,"Albent Al Shalabiya " (the pretty girl), “Lama Bada yatathana” ( When she was swaying ), " Fouk Alnakhl "(above the palm trees”, “Aman Aman”, " Zarney al mahboub" (the beloved visited me), “Medley Om Kulthum”
The researcher chose In the applied framework (Alhelwa De - Albent Al Shalabiya) because they covers various playing techniques, and the researcher observed that they may enrich the piano curricula because it expressed the Arab musical character, so we should be interested in studying those compositions which were not previously analyzed.

First: Wajdi Abu Diab (his life - his education - the most important courses and workshops he participated in - the awards and grants he received - and his most important works that he composed and distributed).
The applied aspect includes:
Extracting the identification card for the work - the tonal analysis of melodies and phrases - the analysis of the research sample, which is (Alhelwa De - Albent Al Shalabiya)- the most important features of Wajdi Abou Diab's style in dealing with Arabic melodies on the piano.
