The aim of the research is to put mechanisms for marketing the intellectual property (IP) in Egypt through theoretical comparative study and in accordance with the nature of the Egyptian community. The researcher used the comparative method which suits. The study nature and reached some results like: 1- IP marketing has large economical effects on university, inventors and investors. 2- Universities have established technology transfer offices and these offices have been considered the university's actors in managing the IP assets and transferring knowledge and technology to the industry sector in addition they are responsible for marketing the university IP. 3- The most multiplication factor in success the first stages of marketing is the experiences and skills of marketing employers. 4- UK IP marketing has many shapes like licensing an existing company or using another IP or intellectual assets to establish new company. 5- The policy of marketing university IP of Loughborough university is align with the university strategic plan. 6- The Chinese university in Hong Kong is involving in marketing revenues from IP marketing with the IP creators according to the university policy. 7- The patents deposits growth in Chinese universities is rapid and returns to the university awareness and their recognition to the IP values 8- The Chinese universities have established many companies the aid of large universities aiming to market their research results and development.
