The revolutionary movements in five Arab countries, Tunisia, Egypt, which witnessed, and Yemen, Libya, which broke out in 2011, had severe, devastating air strikes on the economies that were affected by varying levels of trade and relations in the period (2000-2020), so the evidence was studied and recognized the estimate for Wednesday, but To determine the extent of the existence and sustainability of those sectors that preceded and followed the revolutionary trends in those countries after excluding Libya, there is no published data on it. The degree of coverage was measured only in capacity during that period, and another variation of the practice of trade in the global diversity is through the New York derivation of the estimates.
The results showed that Syria outperformed the other four countries in the annual average value of the competitive advantage index for intra-Arab agricultural trade during the periods preceding the Arab Spring uprisings (2000-2010), as it reached 1.76, 1.61, 0.39, and 0.06 in Syria, Egypt, Tunisia, and Yemen, respectively, while during During the period (2011-2020), Egypt outperformed the four countries in the value of this index, reaching 2.32, 1.18, 0.25, and 0.18 for Egypt, Yemen, Tunisia, and Syria, respectively.
The study concluded with ways to develop the apparent competitiveness of intra-Arab agricultural exports through (1) developing the general agreement for intra-Arab trade, (2) rationalizing the policy of developing Arab demand for Arab agricultural commodities, (3) meeting consumer demand for exported goods, and a previous study showed that the demand Consumers are moving towards health, environmental and commercial specifications, and not the cheapest or largest, and then building strong promotional programs that mimic this to develop consumer demand, by (4) effective control of all specifications, (5) coordinating and rationalizing relations between local suppliers and their importing counterparts.
