The study aimed to identify the level of social responsibility and its dimensions (personal responsibility, family responsibility, and community responsibility) for rural people, determination the extent of gender gap in social responsibility and its dimensions, test the significance of the differences in social responsibility and its dimensions according to gender, determining the relative contribution of the independent variables that are significantly related together in explaining the total variance of social responsibility and its dimensions. Study based on the social survey approach in the rural areas of Sharkia Governorate, on a sample of 202 respondents, Data was collected by a questionnaire in a personal interview from the beginning of June until the end of July 2023. The study resulted that four variablesthat together contribute by (58.6%) in explaining the total variation in social responsibility. The independent variables can be arranged in descending order: Monthly family income (42.3%), achievement motivation (8.7%), social justice feeling (4.9%), leadership (1.4%), Make decisions freely (1.3%), and the effect of all of these variables was positive.
