Abstract:
The management of water resources especially the groundwater aquifers is considered a vital role in sustainable development under the global effect of climatic changes. Categorizing fundamental understanding gaps for risks developed from the interaction of hydrological implications and society. Consequently, the arid and semi-arid regions are the main zones which suffer environmental threats. Hydrological hazard and climate change are considered a common environmental problem. These studies present the impact of flash flood hazards on water resources in arid regions, and apply to a case study in a coastal tourism area located at Hurghada, Egypt. The watershed modelling system (WMS) was applied in this study to delineate the stream flow volume and discharges. The results showed that the flash flood hazards and climate change have a negative impact on tourism area and need to mitigation and consider in the future design and environment.
