Abstract:
The aquaculture industry is subjected to many challenges, among which are dis eases. Diseases can be infectious or noninfectious according to the causative agent. Infectious diseases include bacterial, viral, mycotic, and parasitic diseases. On the contrary, noninfectious may include nutritional and environmental diseases, which predispose for the occurrence of other diseases plus its detrimental effect itself. Diseases conditions can cause serious negative effects on the aquatic animals and the aquaculture industries. Diseases challenge the immune system leaving it in an impaired status to perform its normal functions of protection. Reporting those Diseases in Aquaculture conditions is necessary to evaluate their ecological effect and the economic impacts in fish farms. The correct identification of fish diseases is crucial to properly address the causative agents and decide the appropriate control approaches and measures
