The influence of various doses of Moringa oleifera extract on the antioxidant trait, cytokines, reproductive hormones performance, and gonadal histological profiles of Nile tilapia

Abstract:
Conclusively, the dietary MOAE intervention at 200 mg/kg reflects a promising effect on enhancing biochemical patterns (including antioxidant capacity, hormonal function, and cytokine regulation), gonadal histo-architecture, and immunohistochemical profiles. Con trarily, supplementing 400 mg MOAE/kg has an adverse impact on O. niloticus health and reproductive performance. Hence, it is recommended to use M. oleifera seed extract sup plementation with caution. Future studies are needed to test other impacts of M. oleifera on other fish species.
