Dual effects of dietary Lactobacillus helveticus and chlorogenic acid on growth performance, digestibility, immune‑antioxidant capacity and resistance against heat stress of juvenile common carp

Abstract:
Considering the significance of both L. helveticus and chlorogenic acid, the addition of blend of L. helveticus and chlorogenic acid has a potent synergistic activity and has achieved the best outcomes in improving growth efficacy, digestion, hematological picture, biochemical indices, and immune-antioxidant capacity in common carp. Future studies are needed for testing antimicrobial activities for L. helveticus and chlorogenic acid as well as testing their beneficial impact on other fish species.
