Abstract:
Internet of things (IoT) is a fast-growing industry that requires the collaboration of many scientific disciplines. IoT can be defined as a network of connected objects (and possibly human individuals) that can exchange data among each other using mobile and embedded sensors. IoT has gained wide applicability in areas like smart buildings, smart cars, health care and human activity recognition, robotics, marketing and business, and others. Thus many interesting related research problems have been proposed recently, mainly protocols and standardizations, sensor technology, wireless sensors network, big data analysis, and security. In this paper, the role of a particle swarm optimization algorithm in solving many IoT-related optimization problems is figured out.
