Thisinvestigationaimedtoevaluatetheimpactofimmersion(IM)riboflavintreatmentonthehatchability,productionefficiency,andcarcasscharac-teristicsofJapanesequaileggs.Atotalof260eggsofJapanesequailbirdswereusedforhatchingandwererandomlydividedinto4treatmentswith5replicates(13eggs/replicate)inafullyrandomizeddesign.Hatchingeggswereimmersedinriboflavinfor2minbeforeincu-bation.Theexperimenttreatmentsweredesignedasfol-lows:G1controlgroupwithnotreatment,G2treatedwith3g/Lvit.B2(IM),G3treatedwith4g/Lvit.B2(IM)andG4weretreatedwith5g/Lvit.B2(IM).Afterhatching,128Japanesequailchicks,aged7d,wererandomlygroupedinto4treatmentgroups,with32birdsineachgroup.WhenquailsweregivenvitaminB2viaimmersion,theydemonstratedsignificantenhancementsinlivebodyweight,bodyweightgain, feedconsumption,andfeedconversionratioatdifferentstagescomparedtothecontrolgroup.Comparedtocon-trolandothergroups,thecarcassparametersofJapa-nesequailsgivena4g/Limmersionsolutionshowedasignificantimprovement(P<0.05).Hatchabilityandfertility(%)wereconsiderablyraisedbyVit.B2treat-mentsof3,4,and5g;thegroupimmersedin5g/Lhadthehighestpercentagescomparedtotheothergroups.Furthermore,treatedchickenswithallconcentrationsofvitaminB2hadsignificantlyhigherbloodindicesthanthecontrols.Duringtheexploratoryphase(1−6wk)ofage,thehighestreturnswerereportedinG4treatedwith5g/Lvit.B2(IM).TreatingJapanesequaileggswithdifferentdosagesofvitaminB2byimmersionmayberecommendedtoimprovetheirproductiveandrepro-ductiveperformance,bloodindices,carcasstraits,andeconomicefficiency.
