By studying the reality of Egyptian agricultural and food exports to the African market, that the rates of trade exchange with Africa are limited compared to other blocs, and it also shows a significant increase, reaching about $16,028.4 billion as an average for the period 2020-2023. Arab African countries are also considered to have the largest share of Egyptian agricultural and food exports, at a rate of about 60%. Egyptian agricultural and food exports to the African Free Trade Agreement countries will increase about 0.5%, as the effects of implementing the African Free Trade Agreement began to appear starting in 2022, meaning that the agreement contributed during the period 2020 to 2023 to increasing agricultural and food exports about 5%, but it is expected that with the increase in exporters’ knowledge of the agreement. The results of the export opportunities indicate that it is expected that by taking advantage of the preferential advantages of the African Free Trade Agreement, Egypt's total exports of agricultural and food commodities will increase about $473 million, or 28% of actual Egyptian exports to African markets. The study recommended the importance of working to attract companies to invest in agriculture in Egypt so that Egypt is the real starting point for the African market, and overcoming the high shipping costs, improving the efficiency of customs clearance operations for African markets, and directing exports of promising agricultural commodities under study according to a geographical plan based on actual demand in African markets.
