This research aims to conduct an economic analysis of the value chain for maize Crop production in El-Minya Governorate by studying the current production situation in Egypt and El-Minya Governorate. It analyzes the value chain of input costs per feddan, as well as the value chains of agricultural outputs, economic efficiency indicators, and the quantities produced and marketed to estimate the marketing indicators for the maize value chain in the study sample from El-Minya Governorate. The results show that the average cost of harvesting per feddan in El-Minya District is approximately 1200 EGP per feddan, which is about 375.40 EGP per ton. The cost of packaging and transportation amounts to approximately 450 EGP per feddan, equivalent to about 135.44 EGP per ton. The marketing efficiency for El-Minya District is estimated at around 93.39%. For Malawy District, the average cost of harvesting per feddan is approximately 1400 EGP per feddan, which is about 420.62 EGP per ton. The cost of packaging and transportation amounts to approximately 400 EGP per feddan, equivalent to about 130.21 EGP per ton. The marketing efficiency for Malawy District is estimated at around 93.13%. For Bani Mazar District, the average cost of harvesting per feddan is approximately 1350 EGP per feddan, which is about 386 EGP per ton. The cost of packaging and transportation amounts to approximately 500 EGP per feddan, equivalent to 146.82 EGP per ton. The marketing efficiency for Bani Mazar District is estimated at around 92.70%.
