Abstract: |
The research aimed to identify the reality of employing educational innovation to increase the competitiveness of kindergarten institutions, and the differences between the opinions of teachers and supervisors and the opinions of faculty members in employing educational innovation, and the differences between the kindergartens that obtained accreditation or applied for accreditation and the kindergartens that did not apply for accreditation in employing educational innovation to increase The competitive ability of kindergarten institutions, as well as identifying the most prominent challenges facing employing educational innovation to increase the competitive ability of kindergarten institutions, and presenting a proposed vision to increase the competitive ability of kindergarten institutions in light of the educational innovation approach. The researcher used the descriptive analytical method, and the research tools were determined in designing a questionnaire about the reality of employing educational innovation to increase the competitiveness of kindergarten institutions (prepared by the researcher). The questionnaire included (5) axes for educational innovation, namely (educational policies of the kindergarten system - philosophy and goals of kindergartens - educational environment and infrastructure in kindergarten institutions - curricula and methods of teaching and learning in kindergartens - professional development for kindergarten teachers), and the research sample consisted of ( 31) faculty member - (63) kindergarten supervisors - (141) kindergarten teachers, and the results of the research concluded that the highest rates of employment in the areas of educational innovation are as follows (in first place is the educational renewal of the educational policies of the kindergarten system, followed by the axis of educational renewal in philosophy The goals of kindergartens are followed by educational renewal for the professional development of kindergarten teachers, followed by educational renewal of the educational environment and infrastructure in kindergarten institutions, and in last place is educational renewal of curricula and methods of teaching and learning in kindergartens. The opinions of faculty members also came in higher in the field of educational policies for the kindergarten system. And the opinions of kindergarten teachers came in a higher percentage in the field of philosophy and goals of kindergartens, and the field of educational environment and infrastructure in kindergarten institutions, and the opinions of female teachers came in a higher percentage in the field of curricula and methods of teaching and learning in kindergartens, and the field of professional development for kindergarten teachers, as the results showed. The kindergartens that have obtained accreditation or that have applied for accreditation are more likely to apply the areas of educational innovation than the kindergartens that have not applied for accreditation, and thus their competitiveness among kindergarten institutions has increased. The research also highlighted the challenges facing employing educational innovation to increase the competitiveness of kindergarten institutions, as it was presented. The research proposes a proposed vision for increasing the competitiveness of kindergarten institutions in light of the educational innovation approach
