Abstract:
The archaeological pottery discovered in tell Basta in Sharkia is fragile and broken and most of the pottery objects excavated from Sharkia suffer from loss of one of their parts such as body, rims handle and base. As a result, the pottery needs gap filling, which is one of the most important restoration and maintenance processes. This process is considered a historical revival identifying social, religious and commercial aspects.
