This study highlighted the maternal risk factors associated with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) in children. ASD is a diverse group of conditions characterized by some degree of difficulty with social interaction and communication. Our study has shown a significant connection between gestational diabetes and autistic children, acknowledging the importance of interventions, screening tests, and lifestyle modifications during pregnancy. We also found a link between the severity of ASD and oxygen desaturation at birth. This highlights the importance of intervention in such cases to improve the child’s quality of life.
